When did you last celebrate your success?

Definition of Success in webdictionary is as follows;

1. A state of prosperity or fame.
2. An event that accomplishes its intended purpose.
3. An attainment that is successful.

You celebrate whenever you feel you achieve something which you aim at or you accomplish one of your dreams. Where is my treat? That was a standard quote from one of my friend in college. I remember, he always asks me to throw a party weather it’s a matter of getting some good marks in any house exam or any other small little achievement. Initially I see his habit of asking for party as if he is a party animal or something but when I closely observe his attitude I found that he was a happy man always remain joyful and in high spirits and never felt down and low.. Today if I remember him I must say he taught me a lesson, a very important lesson that no matter how small or big your achievement is you must celebrate it.

I see blogging as a journey, you just keep on writing new posts every day, very slowly you establish a small network of people who start appreciating your work and make some good comments, you feel happy about it, then you try to write with some more perfection and see that you had earned some unique visitors to your site who often come and make some good remark about your site. Then again you work very hard, make your point and try to secure a place in blogsphere and wish to make your mark in world.

In this long journey there are destinations where you can have this sense of achievement, celebrate your blogging success and energies yourself with more force and strength. Don’t wait for a day when some big thing will come about and then you will celebrate until that day come let’s celebrate these small successes that you have achieve all these months.

I am giving you some five reasons where you can celebrate your blogging success, most of you are mature and have your families so take them out for a lunch and enjoy your success. For me following reason are enough where you celebrate your blogging success:

1. When you book your domain name and successfully install WordPress on it.
2. When you hit the first RSS 100 Subscribers.
3. When someone awards you or gives you a Tag.
4. When you got your first payment check from an affiliate for that matter.
5. When you win any of the contest.

So these may be few occasion where you can hang out for drink, dining or rock a party to pamper yourself and believe that you are special and doing good in life.

Remember that if technorati is indexing 112 million blogs and you have a ranking that is below 1 million even then you have a strong reason to smile on yourself. See how special you are. So go and celebrate this success which you got recently.
