Going Thru Dry Eye Syndrome

My daily eight hour job requires hard work on computer; back home six hours blogging also call for a fight with my newly purchased HP Presario laptop, the result was expected and pretty obvious, I’m going through “dry eye syndrome” ,

itching, burning, and irritation of the eyes, sometimes called “dry eye syndrome,” is one of the most common problems treated by eye care professionals. I advise all my blogger friends out there, please take care as too much stress on eye and working long hour on computer is harmful for eyes. It is essential to have regular breaks so that your eyes can have a rest.

Hope it will be all right soon.

I always have dry eyes combined with astigmatism. Sometimes I use eyeglasses, sometimes contact lenses. But I don’t use any of them when I’m in front of the computer, I can see more clearly in the near distance. Though I feel my eyes more drier after sitting 2-3 hours in front of my pc.

You may want to try screen covers….still see the screen but it takes some of the sting away :)

Well, the same problem happens to me. So, I need to relax and get away from my computer for a while. Walking around the street by foot and greeting my friends along the way is my method to keep me away from every monitor I have at home, including computer. :D

I get that toofrom time to time. I always try to break things up so i’m not looking at a screen so long. I also find some pages that are not so bright and white. I find darker pages are not so hard on the eyes. I even sometimes turn my brightness down

  6. How’s the lighting in your room? I know that if it’s dark (cause I’m working late) and all I have is my screen then the contrast is too much. I don’t know about dry eye per se but definitely “tired eyes”!

We have the same problem buddy. As an accountant and a blogger whos face is always in the laptop, I got dry eyes. A 30 minunte break every three hours from facing te computer will help. Also wearing sunglasses outdoor will protect our eyes from sunlight. The best, visiting your ophthalmologist.
