Google is an expensive way to market your product depending on your niche but I dont see yahoo being drastically different in terms of the PPC engine and the PPC campaign management approach…I used both for my affiliate marketing campaigns..Google is saturated for almost all markets due to its sheer reach, Yahoo is at an advantage for less competitors for their PPC model

Google can be everything. If you do your search engine optimization just right then you can get a lot of traffic from Google. You are right when you say Google isn’t everything.
