How to take Screenshots of Complete Web Pages

Tell me how you do it. Well if you google this phrase in results you will get several software made for this purpose. It seems that they are free shareware, but when you visit these pages you will surprise to see that there are people who are charges many dollars for such simple software.

There is Firefox Add On to solve this purpose.

That’s why they call Firefox the best internet browser. Install Screengrab Firefox Add On and take screenshots of a complete web page. just right-click a page to bring up the context menu and look at the options under “Screengrab” point the location where you wish to save the file, BINGO.

It will capture what you can see in the window, the entire page, just a selection, a particular frame… basically it saves webpages as images – either to a file, or to the clipboard.

  1. Hi Shanker,

This is awesome, I had download it thanks. My way of doing this is always using “PrintScreen” from my comp and then pasting it in PowerPoint and then right click and save in a PNG or JPG file.

    Thanks for the tip.

Thanks for the info. I though there’s no such software around the net. I usually Zoom out to screen shot the whole page.

WoW, another great add-on from Firefox, well done! By using this tool, I don’t have to zoom out to screen and take a shot on the whole page anymore! :)

  4. I was just looking for a program yesterday and also stumbled across this. However since Firefox is so slow, I downloaded a standalone program.

Capturing the whole length of the page, even what is scrolled off the bottom of the screen is an awesomely useful idea!

I am generally using Windows Live Writer and a plugin to insert webpage snapshot. As well as I have tried EndicoSoft.com WebPage Capture. The firefox plugin is cool idea as native tool for web pages. :D

Thanks for this info Shanker. Previously, I used PrintScreen and Photshop to take screenshots of webpages. Now it’s much easier for me to do it.
