I have been Released
Couple of days back I posted about me being blacklisted by Akismet because someone had shown the “Spam Bin” way to my comments.
Some of you guys suggested for contacting Akismet Team to pull me out from blacklist. Thanks Mike, Harsh Agrawal, Sherry , Brad Callen, Mr. I, Wilson Pon and Nihar for showing your concern. I wrote to Akismet Team and requested them to pull me out from their spam commentators list.
Today morning I received this refreshing and soothing mail informing me that they have fixed the problem.
Sorry for the problem. I believe it is fixed now. Please note that your comments may not be published on some blogs if the owners of those blogs have indicated they believe them to be spam.

As some of you doubted I was also not expecting that Akismet team will come up with the solution so soon. I immediately checked up to see whether my comments are appearing on blogs or not, and happy to see that finally I am out of that dumping bin.
I said earlier that I hate Akismet, now I’m taking my words back, Akismet Rocks 
. Let me have my say on your blog now.
Shankar I faced the similar problem almost few months back and the same response I got from them.

Good to see it was all sorted out! I’m surprised the turnaround was so simple and quick but that really does show good things from Akismet!
I just wanted to let you know that I found your comment in my spam list, looks like the issue hasn’t resolved yet.
Congratulations! I saw your comments posted and visible right away. It’s just that my math spam plugin doesn’t approve when a commenter posts 2 or 3 comments at the same time. It approves the first comment but the second and third need to be moderated. Anyway, it doesn’t go to spam page anymore.
I dont think so, beacuse a couple of days back you commented on my blog and it was marked spam by Akismet. Check again and confirm a few more friends.

Actually I hardly ever spam any blog for that matter. When I wrote to Akismet this time (unlike last year) I did not get a favorable help…
Unlike what the support team says, what I figured is that once you get the spammer label, on one blog, on many other blogs you don’t go through. This depends also on the auto approval settings, I guess

I do have prob with Akismet..On some blogs it put me in spam List..After contacting the blog owner, mine cmnts are approved..They say cmnts were spanned by Aksimet
