One of my friend who just started blogging talked to me last night, he said he is doing it but actually don’t like it. His blog is about latest job opportunity and complete management solution for corporate. He told me that he don’t like to write stuff on this subject but still continuing with it , should he stop writing on that subject and start a brand new blog on the topic of his interest?
Well that was a tough call, people are doing so many things in their life which actually they want to do or for which they don’t feel any passion, but I guarantee you that nothing can stop you to get succeed if you are doing the things you are passionate about. You must have a passion for your blog niche; otherwise you will get bored soon and be hit by this strange phenomenon called writer’s block.
So before starting a new blog you must be sure that you have passion and interest about your blog niche.
Concentrate On Your Niche
This is very important, while reading through your blog your reader must have a kind of feeling that you have complete authority on your subject. It should be reflected in your writings. You cannot go along with the things you don’t like.
Concentrate On Your Audience
You must concentrate on what type of readers comes to your blog; your readers always have some kind of idea about what sort of things they will find on your blog. So you must write your posts around your blog niche. Otherwise it will look like a mix bag of scrap.
Concentrate On Your Community
Ensure your twitter followers are of your niche, it will be a better idea to make friends on facebook related to your interest, you must build a strong community on other social media sites like digg and blogcatalog with likeminded friends and bloggers.
If you have a blog on a subject for which you don’t have any interest then I will advise you to change your blog niche and go with the one in which you feel comfortable and passionate.
I think your friend should definitely write about something else. If a person is bored with what they are writing about, it will show in their articles. In order to succeed, one must be motivated when they write their articles because their readers will start to realize that the person is not passionate about what they write.
lol…what a nice title you have on this post…i just laugh when see the picture for the first time
The Obama booty-call…..heheheheh……it is a fun image indeed. I love what photoshop can do! It is easy to pull the wool over the eyes of the sheeple when you can do magic with computers
Yeah… we have to concentrate on what we like indeed… lol (the photo)
We must concentrate on what we love to or else we couldn’t keep up with our blog.
btw, I love the picture. Whose the girl?
Comfortable and passionate, but also one that has enough traffic to make a decent living from…..that is the challenge!
Well if he’s not making much money out of it, just get him to change and write something else!
im concentrating on my twitter but nobody follows me
You are right, i said it before if you dont have a little fun in whar are you doing then you risk it to get bored very quickly. so the first thing to do is to choose a domein which gives you some satisfaction.
Yep, concentration is necessary, no matter what types of job you’re currently involving, Shanker. Plus, without passion, the job would be bloody boring…
Hi Shankar, I agree, it would be impossible to come up with results if the passion for nature of work or people from work is absent. I love the work & people I work for they just happen to be my source of motivation. Without it, your friend would be struck in mediocrity. One can think of gradual shift in work to minimize damage of stopping work suddenly. That’s all I can suggest. Hope he makes the best decision.
You have made some really great points. One will get writer’s block if not fully engaged and passionate about the chosen niche.
I was reading another blogger’s post well actual he had a video that showed how one could find content and not even have to write your own stuff.
Well it was the stupidest thing he was tell people to do. He was telling people to use wikiHow.com to copy an paste the approved text, then embed their own affiliate links. What are your thoughts on that technique?
what a title and what an image and what a category-Productivity
Enthusiasm will shine through on your articles ,usually if one enjoys the topic one will also enjoy reading the relevant content. That is a great shot of President Obama…but really who could blame him i wish i had one like that …LOL!!
Hi
U have won an award from me. check it at http://techofweb.com/link-love/posts-blogging-friends.html

So True. Writing is associated to what we like to write about. And knowledge and resources for a certain niche is also a requisite.
I am completely agree with you Shankar.
Concentration is required in every part of blogging,If you don’t concentrate on your niche then blog can fail.I mean what you going to write and whome you are writing, these things are pre required in in blogging.
Thanks to share the tutorial for newbie.
Concentration is Good but money-making is an Art And only few % are expert.
LOLs, the Obama- booty thing disrupted my attention from your post…
The picture caught my attention LOL I just can’t leave this page without reading what it’s all about. Actually I also have a blog that I don’t really like much but I earn more from it so I continue it. But I enjoy writing at my blog in which I have a passion about even though it earns less. I believe that my efforts will soon pay off anyways.
First time commenting here! There is a first-time for everything right? ^-^
I like the picture and article title concentrate on your niche. Nice combination.
Can’t agree more. Concentration and FOCUS is so important in whatever you do. It applies to everything. The obama pic made me LOL hard!
This pic is too interesting. I even got an idea for a new blog from this pic.
It makes it much more enjoyable when we do something we like, one can speak there mind and there personality and sincerity shines through .Conversations are easy to strike and this would be especially useful to blogging.
Wow! I can’t believe it’s Obama. Is it photoshop edited?
I cannot stop laughing looking at the picture and relating it to the subject.
on a more serious note, I think Shankar is spot on
IMO, he should stop writing for that and find a new niche. When a person dislikes what he does, especially if he’s not that well-informed about what he’s writing, he will produce things that are not good. However, I also believe that passion can go hand in hand with profit.
I love the Obama photo, btw. That is not photoshopped!
some different is in this post.It is really a nice post….
