I personally write for Google and my readers. Since I’m focusing on home business reviews, I get ranked very well in Google for many product related keywords and I always try to write honest reviews, so that my readers are getting real information about these products.

With that I can say, that I’m writing for both, Google and my readers.

I don’t blog to regular readers anymore, so I must say I write for Google rather than readers. With that said however, I do agree that because people want to get more SE traffic, they tend to change their writing styles.

I never really managed to figure out keyword targetting, keyword sniping and stuff. So I gave up and instead just concentrate on writing quality stuff.
