Do you think Google Chrome is faster than other browsers?
If you want to know why Google Chrome is so fast then you must see this video in which Google reveals how Chrome technology works.
I use google Chrome and use firefox sometime and never use Internet Explorer.
By the way which Internet browser you use?
There is not doubt that Chrome is the best browser as of now. The only problem is that there are not much plugins available.

I use Internet Explorer and FireFox.
I dislike Internet Explorer because it crashes so often for me, there are actually web sites I can’t visit with IE so I have to open FireFox just for that site.
I am disliking FireFox because it uses at least twice as much memory as Internet Explorer, WHY?

Chrome is definitely fast for me but part of the reason might be because I have so many addons for Firefox!

I’m using Firefox.
Most of the internet users use firefox because it is older than chrome. But chrome is faster and it will gain some ground soon.
For SEO use it has to be Firefox, but for faster browsing I use Chrome. It’s oozing fast
Not sure which browser is faster to browse the web. With ADSL2+ and Ts connections, it’s harder to differentiate.
But Chrome definitely feels lighter for me and has a quicker start-up than Firefox!

i am using FF for my browsing purpose most of the times but still i prefer using Chrome also sometimes. IE is still very slow for me.
yes chrome is faster browser but i am used to FF features so wont be changing to chrome or IE
I’m using Chrome and Firefox. I have lots of add ons in Firefox that’s why its kinda slow sometimes. But I think Chrome is really faster.

I am using google chrome and haven’t disabled internet explorer. When I first turn on the computer I get an error message each time. I report the error but this is getting annoying. What to do?
Before I was using internet explorer then switch to firefox cause it’s faster than IE. I have used Google Chrome before but still I am using Firefox.^^

Haha, I’ve been using a Chrome theme on my Firefox because I’m so used to Firefox but I loved the Chrome interface. I’m not sure if its actually “faster”, but it sure as heck seems that way doesn’t it?

Nope, My points goes to Opera… Chrome gives you an impression that it is light, but if you calculate the timings, then you will find, it is not fast enough.
Chrome is really a good browser but unless they have those plugins like the ones in firefox, its useless for business..

You could still use Firefox to run Windows Update. There is a add-on for Firefox called IE Tab. It even works in Firefox 3.0.1 and will run any web page in an Internet Explorer tab if it will not run or display correctly in Firefox.
Sure, I dont know whats other think, but as a my part Google Chrome is best browser.
If three-quarters of people are using IE, no wonder so many people are so excited. It’s about time someone re-hauled the browser dinosaur. This interesting article talks about the effect on Windows and Microsoft.

I switched from IE to Firefox several years ago. I didn’t like all the IE pop-ups and security issues. I installed Google Chrome last year and your post reminds me to give it another test drive.
I often use Google Chrome and it is really a good browser but I mostly use firefox.

I agree that Google Chrome is faster the any other Browser but i don’t why it consumes extra memory per new tab. Long back i was fan of Mozilla Firefox but it started hanging the i switched to Google Chrom.

I’ve got both installed, but use Firefox primarily because of all the plugins and toolbars and toys I’ve pimped my FireFox out with. At one stage FireFox was running very sluggishly, and I loaded Chrome to use it for faster browsing, but an update to FireFox solved that and I haven’t used Chrome since, to be quite honest!
I use both Chrome n Firefox . Chrome is really faster but for blogging I prefer Firefox because of its features.

ei, that was a nice video.. ^^ I’m using Google Chrome since it was launched. For me, yes. It’s much faster than the others. Probably because there’s no much toolbars on it?.. I don’t know. But I like it. specially when I switch tabs, it slides which makes cool. Yes. It also has themes! That’s way too cool for me. ^^

Yes, Google Chrome is much faster. It also crashes less and doesn’t use as much memory. JavaScript will run much faster due to Google’s V8 JavaScript engine.
It’s very similar and based on the same web kit as Safari – which means that sites not working in Safari won’t work in Chrome either. It does seem pretty quick, and has some nice ideas – but it isn’t a revolution. It’s based on web kit which has been turned down by many in favor of Firefox.
Chrome is no doubt the fastest browser out there atm.
However, due to the lack of add-ons even allot of the developers at Google use Firefox.
As a web developer, I just can’t live without the add-ons I use with Firefox.

No, Chrome will claim to download faster only because it runs on Google’s infrastructure. The factor in downloading files comes down to two things. The speed your internet is currently at, and the RAM inside your computer. The higher both these components are, the faster your download will be.
I use most of the browsers out there. Overall speed and performance-wise I definitely prefer Chrome, then probably Opera. Firefox is also very nice but I just don’t like it as much. Of course the the vast amount of plugins for Firefox makes it very appealing. Obviously Internet Explorer is my least favorite. However, I still have to use it for work because some of our websites and programs only work with IE, primarily due to Active X controls.
I didn’t notice it since I only used it once. I am using Firefox most of the time.

Hi,if “best” you mean “fastest” this is debatable, with tracemonkey in the new firefox 3.1 coming that will be the fastest, but if your looking for extreme speed right now i recommend opera 9.62.
I havent had any inconclusive evidence to the naked eye that makes me think that chrome is much faster that I would only use chrome. However it does seem less susceptible to viruses right now.

In the Options of settings you can change your search engine. Just simply write you default search engine name i.e. Google and save it……

Chrome is faster than any browser and its plugin gallery growing daily. I think sooner or later I’m going to switch to Chrome from Firefox.

I think Google Chrome is faster than Mozilla. But most of Addon are supported by Chrome where as mozilla supports almost all Addon.

Initially, I used to work on Firefox. Then liked IE7. But after launch of chrome, I dont like any other browser any more. I do have IE8 also on my lappy but chrome is best. Its very fast relative to other browsers.

If you were to ask me,
I would suggest you to not go for Chrome the only reason being that its a fairely new browser and is greeted by Hacker Exploits.
You yourself might have noticed while using chrome that it auto downloads some files without your confirmation. Imagine if these were exploit scripts or trojan embedded files.
I personally use and recommend Firefox and Internet Explorer.
