I agree that paid tutorials provide much more information which free blogs normally don’t give.
I have spent 1 year in blogging and still struggling for survival.
I totally agree with Gobala. It’s much better if you are learning it the right way and invest a bit of money in tutorials. And another good thing on being a member of such a site is that you mostly get much better help then from all those free forums.
The thing with step by step tutorials is that you’re actually building your blog as you’re following the process. No getting sidetracked by gremlins or hiccups or other silly stuff. Doing it by yourself is another matter altogether, and just ain’t easy!
To me, promoting a blog is way harder than building a blog.
