eMail Marketing is not a Monkey’s Business
So finaly i decided to go with Aweber, as you knows i was using Mailchimp email marketing service for sending out affiliate promotion offers, announcements and newsletters. But from couple of month i was facing problems as my account was disable by MailChimp for sending new mails. The reason for this was that I uploaded the list of my feedburner subscribers into my mailchip a/c and when i sent them a new campaign from mailchimp most of them unsubscribed for receiving further mails.
What happened was that one morning when i was trying to login to my mailchimp account i found that it has been blocked by mailchimp for sending mails. when i contacted them i got this reply ( which seems to be an auto reply to me); “You’re receiving this email because someone on the MailChimp review team noticed content in your campaign(s) that we’d classify as “risky” or “inappropriate.” We make no judgements here. We simply have to keep our servers from getting blacklisted. Certain types of content are just more prone to getting reported for abuse than others. Unfortunately, your content falls under that “risky” category. To maintain the deliverability of our system for thousands of customers, we have to suspend your account. No offense. We just can’t afford the risk.”
So , this is how this monkey bite me on my back and blocked my account. Mailchimp has a policy if the unsubscribe rate for any campaign is more than to a certain level (1% of total mail recipient i guess) then they block that account for sending further email campaigns.
I agree that there are some terms and conditions which make them to do so but the thing is that after making sereral requests and try to contact them through various means they never give you a chance to be heard by someone who can help you to restore your account back. All Monkies up there are duff and dumb. believe me.
I left with no other option but to change my email service provider, and i choose Aweber. No doubt they are the best in the business, but the problem is that if you wish to import subscribers list of your old email service into your Aweber account all your subscriber need to reconfirm their subscription and you know that there are always few subscribers who don’t do that, so there is a chance that you might loose some of your subscribers in the process. I uploaded my mailchimp list to my new account with Aweber and only a few have yet reconfirm their subscription.

Aweber is a leader in email marketing service. They are the best so that why they are a little costlier then other email marketing services.

I have not try this method aweber.
People shouldn’t be penalized for using role based email addresses, when in their case using role based email address is their best solution for email management.
Aweber is so far the most effective online email management system and that is why it has captured the leading position in this industry. I think you got banned not because of the risky content but for uploading feedburner’s email list to your account.

Referral links aside, what exactly did your email contain that was considered risky by Mailchimp?
Not telling us the whole story makes me think you only wrote this to get some Aweber referrals…
I wish i could get the answer from MailChimp as I also asked them to explained what was wrong with my campaign. I think they are not monitoring manually what their customers are complaining.
