How to Get Started in Affiliate Marketing-Part IV -Expert Advise
Asta Lavista Baby !! and I am back again, okay we were doing a series on affiliate marketing right? Lets dive into the fourth part of this series today, as I promised in my previous post of this series that I will be talking to some great affiliates to get their first hand expert advice but before reading what they says for all those who missed out the first three parts of this series here are the links;

A newbie affiliate marketer always asked few things about it before getting started, so it will be a better idea to sort out those quarries in FAQ style.
Q. Do I really need to create products for entering into affiliate marketing business?
No, you don’t need to, all you have to do is to register yourself with some merchants, service providers or affiliate networks and choose the product of your interest 0r which you think is potential for promoting; using various tools and methods which have been explained in earlier posts of this series.
Q. Do I need to invert some money to get started in affiliate marketing?
I will not say that affiliate marketing costs nothing as everything has an opportunity costs, but for jumping into affiliate marketing you don’t need to sell your house, don’t even need a website or blog for that matter. here is the of bare minimum cost that require to spent
- If you wish to promote affiliate products through a static website or blog – the cost for a domain name registration and hosting charges which comes to approx $100 ($10 for domain + approx $90 for hosting space ). You can cut down this cost if you go for a cheap web host but I will advise you not to do that, here is the reason why.
- If you wish to promote your affiliate marketing products with email campaign promotion all you need to spend is the email marketing service cost. here is comparison of Top Ten email marketing service provider.
- If you promote product through Social networking sites then you already know that social networking sites like twitter and facebook cost nothing but eats lots of your time
- Forum posting cost nothing but some forums need you to pay membership fee before posting affiliate promotion threads.
- If you really want to do big in affiliate marketing and eyeing at PPC marketing for your affiliate products then surely you need to spend a good amount to get started. People blow up a part of their hard earned investment in learning it so its not advisable to go for PPC until you learn the art of doing it.

Great post and good advice from all the people who succeeded, they are very true and if you follow them you will succeed as well. Patience is key to succeeding and never giving up even it looks like you are failing. If you keep at it eventually you will succeed.
I think I will try my luck first on social networking. It’s easier to do and it doesn’t cost much.
Great tips — especially the part about “that social networking sites like twitter and facebook cost nothing but eats lots of your time”.
I don’t do a lot of Facebook or Twitter marketing myself but manage to make a PILE from WordPress blogs and good SEO.
Time is definitely money and you need to be careful where you invest it.
