5 Things a Blogger should Learn from Michael Jackson?

I am BIG fan of Michael Jackson as I mentioned several time here, he was a great guy to follow , learn and motivate yourself. In fact whatever I do in life I try to relate it somehow, somewhere to the man himself, no wonder I started this blog on his birthday, and it was heart breaking when last we got the news of his sad demise.

Now if you ask me what’s the logic of starting a blogging site on his birthday and what’s the point in relating the whole blogging thing with Michael Jackson, then I will only say,  that he was a legend and everyone have something to learn form him, no matter in which business you are , no matter in what sort of service you provide you can always aspire and encourage yourself taking the examples from life and style of the great Michael Jackson,

Here are some lessons that you can learn from the legend;

[1] Make It BIG
Whatever you do in life, try to make it BIG. Michael Jackson videos and Live Shows were always filled with things beyond imaginations. He always wanted to took you to the places you never seen, spacial effects you never witnessed before. During the promotion of HIStory World Tour his “huge statues” were positioned throughout the Europe, it  shows how big he want to make things around him.

So as a blogger; If you are blogging for own pleasure then its good; but if you blogging for business then you must make all efforts and work with full force to take it to next level every time you write a post on it.

[2] Be Professional
Michael JacksonNot many people knows that no body can replicate the famous “anti-gravity lean” motion, which Michael Jackson did in smooth criminal, because Michael Jackson have a legal copyright, patent to his name [ U.S. Patent No. 5,255,452] for that particular move. You just can’t repeat that action in any of your movie, music video or on stage without his ( or his legal heir’s ) permission.

So a blogger must protect and keep intact his/her intellectual property with copyright, Trade Mark Registration and patent right. Must Protect your domain, website design, contents from coping, plagiarism and misuse of your social identity.

[3] Must Pay Back to The Mother Nature and Society
Michael JacksonMichael Jackson once stated in a award function that he feel himself lucky that he can give back something in return, in form of his music and dance, to the society. His song “we are the world”  ”USA for AFRICA” is still the biggest in History It became one of the best-selling singles of all time, with nearly 30 million copies sold and millions of dollars donated to famine relief.

You Blogging business is always be depending on your social networking, tell me what you do when someone comes to you for help? Well its give and take. If you just use people for your purpose then you’ll pay the price one day, so always be helpful to others, try yourself, or suggest a way to solve their issue. If someone favors you , its a duty on your part to give back something in return to him/her, as a blogger you can have a mention in a post or help him/her spreading good content.

[4] Be Humble, Down to earth and submissive
Michael JacksonOh, you know very well how humble and sensible he was, he has great regards and gratitude for his fellow singers and other people despite being so successful and so wealthy. When an Indian actor Hritik Roshan met him in New York, Michael introduce himself to Roshan as “Hi, I am Michael Jackson, I am singer, have you heard my songs”. Now thats sheer greatness of this man.

As a blogger you must understand that success bring along lots of evils, you should remain humble and nice and must learn the art of handling success so that it should not go to your head. Eat humble pie when someone point out your mistakes, be ready to face criticism ( Thats surely come along with success) and learn to win hearts.

[4] Never feel old to learn new things
For his concert series ‘This is It” Michael Jackson was asked whether he want to dance with his old trained dance group or would he like to dance with new generation untrained kids for his song “they Don’t really care about us”. And you know what was his answer, yes you guessed it right. He was 50 when he died but he was very young at heart. Still dreams in his eyes that he was wishing to attain. From his childhood to this age he was always ready to incorporate every latest development to his music.

So as a blogger you must keep yourself update with all latest tech development and always be ready to learn new things. There is no age of learning new things and always keep on experimenting with new things.

Thats it ……..there are hundreds of other thing that i can mention here but lets put the stop here…….and remember this great soul on his 52nd birth anniversary.
