Top 45 Ways for Generating traffic to your blog

Lets get on with the list without any blah blah blah about how important traffic is for your blog.

  1. Write about breaking News .
  2. Search for an untapped blog niche.
  3. Feel free to write on how you mess-up with a little thing that even a child  should know.
  4. Do not write lengthly posts, write short, sweet and up to the mark.
  5. Build a community around your blog niche.
  6. Ask your friends and followers to help you spread the content and make it viral.
  7. Write detail in-depth posts, if you can’t do that then don’t bother to publish it.
  8. Don’t write about how your kids are doing, there are social networking sites for that purpose.
  9. Write in way to make your readers dependable on you.
  10. Don’t write in long paragraph, write with bullet points and <h>Headings.</h>
  11. Use Twitter, facebook, and Digg as social media tools and forget about everything else right now.
  12. Sends interview request to top shot bloggers and authority bloggers in your niche.
  13. Always try to help if someone approach you,  at least show them the way how they can fix it.
  14. An Image Speaks a thousand words,  Use Images in blog posts ( of hot girls with laptops) Evil me :-)
  15. Start Series of long detail posts ( Like this one on affiliate marketing 1, 2, 3,4)
  16. Encourage readers for subscription, ask them to be your friends on social networking sites.
  17. Make your blog comment do follow, fix CommentLuv plugin if you are a newbie blogger.
  18. Always reply if someone approach you through email.
  19. Highlight your popular post with WordPress popular post plugin.
  20. Interlink your blog posts, for reducing bounce rate and engaging readers.
  21. Try to make your  blog theme unique and attractive, spend some money on buying a premium theme rather.
  22. Mention  Fellow bloggers posts so they include your posts reference also on their blog.
  23. Attempt Link-Bait
  24. search for Blogging Resource that are useful but very little known.
  25. People love to read about facebook and Google these days, Write frequent posts on these giants.
  26. Draft posts on Weekends and publish all through week. This will give you enough time to engage yourself on social Media sites like facebook and Twitter.
  27. Don’t tweet about why your girlfriend is annoyed with you these days, share content which is useful and helping other bloggers.
  28. Build Subscribers List.
  29. Present yourself as an authority on your niche.
  30. Write posts that are timeless, most of the tech posts become obsolete after six month of their publishing, so keep on writing detail posts in between, if you are a tech blogger.
  31. Write about blogging tips and how to become a rock star blogger.
  32. Make your blog theme easy to navigate, always display your recent posts in sidebar.
  33. Be regular in your writing, don’t give-up in between.
  34. Always write about those bloggers whom you follow and who inspire you for blogging.
  35. Write List Posts , Like Top 10 ways to……5 myths about blogging etc.
  36. Don’t interrupt reader’s attentions with Pop-Up opt-in forms.
  37. Submit your RSS feed to Twitter and Facebook and Digg.
  38. Don’t ask your school and college friends to sign-up your RSS feeds. It will only help you to build a huge list of with useless people listed in it.
  39. Try to interact with your readers while writing a blog post.
  40. Write posts around your niche only, No Need to write about Waka Waka if you are a make Money Online Blogger.
  41. Submit your blog to Blog directories.
  42. Submit your feed to all social bookmarking sites.
  43. Read top blogs in your niche and keep on commenting on their posts.
  44. Challenge authority bloggers in your post and make them have a say about you. Rub shoulders with big boys.
  45. Pay attention to your readers comments, always reply to their quarries.

Bonus

  1. Keep telling your readers about how you are enjoying your blogging business life style.
  2. Don’t fill your blog with flashy ads everywhere.
  3. Spread your content with posting video to your YouTube Video channel.
  4. Brainstorm new ideas about your blogging niche.
  5. Write posts about how to get traffic, ( it Always Works) :-)
