Genesis WordPress Theme Framework Review

This seems to be an answer to much talk about WordPress Theme Thesis, and this is from the man who started it all, Yes you got it right, Brian Gardner founder of revolution theme company (  Now known as Studio Press) is the man behind WordPress theme Framework Genesis.

This young Starbucks addict, freelance web designer and Internet consultant from Chicago has brought this master piece to you. I have seen lot of novice developers find it difficult to customize Thesis, ( No fun in buying a costly theme and then throw money on its customization anymore) but Genesis is something you love to tweak it to your heart.

I remember when I called up Brian to fix a small issue on one of my static website, on which i use his metro theme, he immediately responded to my quarry and within few minutes fixed that bug. He is quick, restless and funny.

Genesis and child themes extend

Genesis runs on parent-child themes concept. A child theme is an extension of a theme framework which is comprised of typical theme elements. This theme framework can be referred as parent theme.  Every child theme has its own a stylesheet, a functions file and an images folder. With the click of a button you can change the feel and look of your site.
