How to Use Google Insight for Your Blog Better Search Results

The other day when I wrote about “The Adsense Recipe” , the master creator of AdSense Recipe  Cary Bergeron himself made it clear in comment of that post that to make money with Adsense you don’t need huge traffic but you need right kind of traffic, by this he means you must get traffic from search engines because chances are that those visitors may click contextual AdSense Ads appearing with your content.

That is why it is necessary you must research keywords in your niches which fetch a large amount of traffic from Google search engine.  You don’t need to buy any fancy premium tool to do that, the only thing you need to know is how to use Google Insight to analyze a portion of worldwide Google web searches to compute how many searches have been done for keyword you entered relative to the total number of searches done on Google over time

You can choose to see data for select Google properties, including Web search, Images, Product search, and News search.

On the results page, you’ll see:

  • A graph with the search volume, indicating interest over time (GMT) for your terms/keywords, plotted on a scale from 0 to 100; the totals are indicated next to bars by the search terms.
  • A breakdown of how the categories are classified
  • Lists of the top searches and top rising searches
  • A world heat map graphically displaying the search volume index with defined regions, cities, and metros.
