Ever Wonder why most bloggers fail, well according to DEREK HALPERN Chief Persuasion Officer at DIYthemes, the biggest reason most blogger fail is that they talk too much about themselves on their blog.
There are 60 Plus comments on his post “Why most bloggers fail” at DIYtheme official blog, most of them agrees that bloggers should not talk too much about themselves on their blog. No Doubt this topic is debatable as I don’t agree with this fact. After all blogs created and designed with the intention that people will talk about them on it. Sometimes blogs refers to as “Online Diaries”, but with the rise of social networking sites people are using social media platform like facebook and twitter to talk about their personal stuff and using blog to rant or ramble or write about specific topic or niche in which they are expert.
Following are some reason why I am advocating this fact that you must talk about yourself on your blog;
1. Blogs were created as your personal Online Diaries.
2. It help you connect with your readers.
3. Visitors who reads your blog want to know more about you.
4. The most visited page on any blog is “about me”
5. After all Its your blog
Tell me what you think about it?
I like to know my readers view on this.
Hummmm about me page is very very important you are right
Few people who write blogs on their personal experiences tend to make money out of their personal lives which later does not work at all, we have an example of sibmly star

i am fully agree with DEREK HALPERN Chief Persuasion Officer at DIYthemes..that bloggers will have to give their hundred percent to their thing on which they are blogging for …not to write on the topic myself ..that’s why many blogger fails
Its true many people start to boast about themselves without thinking about what their blog is all about. All they want is to make themselves popular.
So true, after all its my blog… About page is a definite one for all blogger.
I personally think sharing your own personal thoughts and experiences on blog helps a lot in bridging the gap between reader and writer. I personally love to read author experiences when I visit other blogs because it really helps me in evaluating the author. But, yes, this should not be overdone. A good mix of actual blog topic plus slight flavor of your personal experiences makes the blog readable and really interesting.
I usually share my life experiences with my readers and most of times they react with huge response to such articles.
I believe in you, sharing your personal experience and giving a personal touch to your posts always help to build strong loyal and unique community around your blog
I agree with you on all the points.Besides, most blogger lacks patience, they want success overnight and give up very easily.
I agree with you Mr Shanker totally many blogger after reaching to some extent of success. The success get rules over their head and start doing lots of mistake which in blogging business is not acceptable. The fail of resources.
first six months of serious blogging is all you need to stick to. if you can survive these 6 months i think you are in the competition …
