Yes I am correct that Students are best blogger and I can prove it to you also. Lets find I am right or not.
- Students set the topics for posts – leads to deeper thinking activities
- Students are digital natives - blogging is a natural element of this
- authentic audience – no longer working for a teacher who checks and evaluates work but a potential global audience so they do more hard-work
- Increased motivation for writing – all students are happy to write and complete aspects of the post topic. Many will add to it in their own time
- Mutual learning between students and staff and students.
- Prepares students for digital citizenship as they learn cyber safety and netiquette
- Gives students a chance to show responsibility and trustworthiness and engenders independence so they prove their selves easily.
Why A Student Should Blog
- Increased motivation for writing – all students are happy to write and complete aspects of the post topic. Many will add to it in their own time.
- Increased motivation for reading – my students will happily spend a lot of time browsing through fellow student posts and their global counterparts. Many have linked their friends onto their blogroll for quick access. Many make comments, albeit often in their own slang language.
- Improved confidence levels – a lot of this comes through comments and global dots on their cluster maps. Students can share their strengths and upload areas of interest or units of work eg personal digital photography, their pets, hobbies etc Staff are given an often rare insight into what some students are good at. We find talents that were otherwise unknown and it allows us to work on those strengths. It allows staff to often gain insight to how students are feeling and thinking.
- Pride in their work – My experience is that students want their blogs to look good in both terms of presentation and content.
- Increased proofreading and validation skills.
- Improved awareness of possible dangers that may confront them in the real world, whilst in a sheltered classroom environment.
- Ability to share – part of the conceptual revolution that we are entering. They can share with each other, staff, their parents, the community, and the globe.
- Mutual learning between students and staff and students.
- Parents with internet access can view their child’s work and writings – an important element in the parent partnership with the classroom.
- Blogging suits all learning styles.
Hey so Students get ready and surely at Shanker Bakshi Platform we are always ready to help the newbies and needy techies so feel free to ask
I agree that a student can be the best blogger as he is with new spirit and have fast learning and deep power of concentration.
I was once a student blogger and I feel that we put a lot more emphasis in our work because it is something that we are passionate about.
Well… Great content with impressive factual representation… I would suggest you to give your content more lucidity along with abridging or in simple words summarizing the topic….
Students have so much to talk about that is why they can blog so much.
I am commenting from a professional blogger experience. I think we are just as good as a student blogger. The word professional says it all. We have more experience, don’t you all agree.
I agree with your comments. This is a really great site keep up the good work.

Ramsha Afaq , I totally agree with you , i myself just started blogging at the end of my studies and i m feeling that i wasted plenty of my life time, its too late.
My personal opinion is that each and every student is now having access to internet and more than 80 % of students spend most of their time on internet , then why not for the productive work.
The things you mentioned are very authentic to proof that students are better than professional in blogging.
I totally agree with this post. Student’s thinking is very deep and different that’s why student can be better blogger. You had written very informative article. Keep posting…
