Hello, I am Shanker Bakshi, a blogger and an internet entrepreneur. Way back in 2007, I founded my blog Shanker Bakshi dot Com. Since then, I am writing about how to Make Money Online and other technical facets of web 2.0. I am also a kind-hearted, fun-loving and helpful guy.
I started the blog because I always had a passion to introduce myself on the world stage!. In the beginning of my career, I tried my luck in different modes of media like radio, television, though I succeeded, but I knew that something was missing. I wanted to embrace the world in my arms; it was then that I came across this beautiful thing called ‘blogging’. After a few days of giving it a try, I fall in love with it and my journey started. Now, there is no looking back.
My blog has gone through many ups and downs – different shapes, contents, designs, looks and themes – but I have learnt a lot through my journey as a blogger. I have also come to know why only few people succeed in making money from blogging and why others struggle even to pay for their hosting charges. Blogging is not a rocket science, believe me. Therefore, I have decided to share my knowledge with you and I guarantee that by the time through you will gain enough ideas and techniques to run a successful blogging business and start making huge money.
This blog is my attempt to give you tons of tips to make money online and equip you with blogging resources and tools with which you can meet your dream of becoming a highly successful and prosperous blogger.

Dear Shanker Bakshi – the dot Com Guru,
I work for the University Campus Suffolk in Ipswich, I have been asked to design some internal posters for the new build on the waterfront. I would like to use an image I found on your website, we would be able to supply you with a copy of the poster and credit the persons name on the poster.
The picture is of a man holding a babies hand, please would you be able to give us permission for using the picture and also supply us with a high resolution JPG ?

Good to know that you started blogging after reading John Chow’s. I did the same but soon enough started hating John Chow having read and enjoyed problogger, entrepreneurs-journey, dailyblogtips etc.
