There is lot of Buzz in social media circle that Google probably has killed PageRank.

PageRank is a link analysis algorithm of Google that assigns a numerical weighting from 0 to 10 to a web page. If you need information Read this post which explain everything about PageRank.

I stumble upon various posts writing that from now onward Google will not assign PageRank to sites, but that’s not true. PageRank is still alive. The only thing is that the tool you use to monitor PageRank needs some updates as Google has made some changes in look up URLs. In Other words the third party tool which you are using to test PageRank needs some updates to fix the look up URLs

Google PageRank is Still Alive

Googler John Mueller confirmed this on Google +

“It turns out Pagerank is not dead after all. Google has simply updated the URL which is used to query it, which has caused various toolbars and websites to stop reporting the number. Dave Naylor spotted the update and has subsequently updated his own tool, which is now once again reporting PR accurately.”

You Can still see PageRank

On Internet Explorer turn on the Google Toolbar – You will still be able to check Your PageRank score. So do not panic, your site’s PageRank is still Intact. Now Give me a Smile

Now see the stats bar again. Have you noticed anything? Yeah you got it right in the space for Page Rank the stats bar show you none yet. It doesn’t mean we do have such a Page Rank or we lost what we had.

What is Page Rank?

Well, Google Page Rank was one of the important tools for the web masters through which they got a plus point to show. It is like a vote for your website/blog given by another virtual body. Simply it measures the strength of your blog/website such as Facebook was having the PR 10/10 (being the highest).

Why it became Null?

According to the sources through which I gather the news, I have read that Google Page Rank was the patent owned by Stanford University which would expire on 2017. Google holds a paid license which was to be expired in 2011. After which Google’s exclusivity over Page Rank was to be ended. Whereas it is still not sure that this is the core reason behind the shutting off a famous tool.

The Good or The Bad?

For many Pro Bloggers, the Page rank work as another God of Monetization. Yes, by showing the stats like of Google PR bloggers and web master get ads and get sponsored plus revenue on paid articles too so that was a good thing for them but for the newbies and those who don’t have a good PR then they are all happy because now every online page is equal either active, dead, infamous or popular. The Next option to opt for Blog stats is Alexa surely but unlike Page Rank they judge the website through the traffic it receives So Equality is in the air with sadness due to the death of legendary Steve Jobs.

Update: I must not say that I was wrong it was not a rumor but after a lot of Googling on the same topic I came across many stories including some update.

so here I have another story to be read which is true offcourse PR is not Dead

Are you Happy or Sad? Do share with me your Page Rank (RIP) in the comment section.

As a newbie blogger, the first thing that impress you is probably Google Analytics, the way they provide you deep extensive analyses of your site performance. Soon you get obsessed with it and start spending your days and nights around its graph and data ( which is not advisable at all). But Google Analytics surely helps you a lot to understand what’s going on, are you hitting your goal, targets and conversion etc etc. So visiting Google Analytics alternate days, if your posting frequency is high and once in a week is highly recommended.

Google announced major changes this week in Analytics. Let us talk about the major changes they’ve made;

New Improved Interfacing

Google Analytics is still in its Beta version ( oh really) so lot more we can expect in time to come. They have introduced a new improved user interface. I like the color and one can also notice some slight changes in graphical representation.

Real Time Data

Now this will make all the differences. Real time data is what all big boys were seeking, and Google Analytics will now comes with Real Time Data Reports, you can see what’s happening this very moment on your site.

To get this real time data report first you need to opt for new version, and if you are still unable to see it, it’s because Google has given its access to selected publishers, which will soon be available to every user. Fill in this form to apply for Real Time Data Report early access.

Following teaser video from Amit Agarwal will give you some idea about it.

Google Analytics Premium

Enough of FREE!! lunch, Google also introduced Google Analytics Premium for US, Canada and UK users.

Google Analytics Premium is available for a fixed annual fee in the United States, Canada, and the UK. You can get it directly from Google or through Google Analytics Premium Authorized Resellers. To learn more about Premium, you can contact the Google team or our authorized resellers.

Besides these, measuring social impact on your content will also help you do better with your blog, like when you publish a new post you also share it immediately on social networking sites like facebook and twitter, so now you can monitor what’s the real impact it has on your site.

If Google start loving your website then No One can stop your Web Presence from going to the Top. Yet it is very rare that Google would himself love your Blog/Web. You need to work on few of the Strategies which I am going to mention ahead in this Post and then Google will rock your Blog and you will be Flying on Skies.

Before Involving much I am just letting you know about Few points on which you must work Continuously and Let your Relation with Google be for Long Times.

Unique and Engaging Content: I always recommend and follow that to make a better blog one should write the content which must be unique and engaging. If you will cover only these 2 points then I am sure your content will automatically turned into valuable and demanding too as well it will show its quality to the readers also. You will easily make a difference from others blog. It is very necessary to keep an eye on your competitors and try to differ your work in contrast to succeed and provide better things to your readers in return of their Priority given to your Blog. If you won’t be writing engaging and unique content no one would love to waste his/her time at your Blog and surely won’t be visiting your Blog again. A very much effective reason is that to make a Popular Blog one should convert the Blog writings into a conversation between you and the reader. You must build a community around it. Give personal touch to the Article and Share your Views and Experiences on a Particular thing rather than rewriting an already written article. Ask direct Questions to your Readers and Reply to every Comment for Better Communication with the Readers.

Killer Articles:The Articles that includes Information to Kill anyone are considered and referred as Killer Articles, Yes those articles are called Killer articles. A Killer article is not more than a value pack of huge content for the Potential reader. Killer Articles are usually long and structures and often contains details of minute things too. Killer article is a Gemstone of your Blog content which is also a reason of getting high Traffic. They are the source of Generating Backlinks too. Killer Articles may take your many Hours but the results are more than the time spend on it so don’t be afraid of starting one Killer Article just right now. And never ever think you are short of Ideas or Information just Go ahead and you will sail your Journey easily for a Killer Article.

Content Ideas: Aha! Most of the Bloggers are confused when it comes to decide a topic for the Next Posts. Really, it is one of the most toughest and hardest thing to think of a Unique Idea. To make it Hassle free and keep up flowing with Ideas you may write about the Experience you just had Online. You can Look for the Solution of your Problems also. Another Essential tip to combat with this Problem is to write all the Topics which you think can be a Part of your Next Blog Post. You can use a Pen or Pencil to write the Topics and Place the Paper at a place which will make you remind of the Article topic. You can also opt to write the Heading in your WordPress dashboard so when you will Login Next time to your Dashboard you can see the Draft right away.

Posting Frequency: Often Bloggers are in need of an Ideal Posting frequency so as I am in need because preparing a time-table for yourself and scheduling your Posts is like Hell and it makes me lazy more often. Well the truth is that, there is no Ideal Posting frequency. I believe that one should more concern on the Post Quality rather than Article’s Quantity. I can Post up to 8 Articles per day but I know while doing that I will spoil the Image of my whole Blog as well as the Value of my Old Quality content would Die too. So better Go for the Quality even if you Post something on Weekly Basis but never ever try to enhance the Quantity while having No Quality. If you will do so then you are only Going to Lose your Readers and Damage the Blog, it would be working as a Flood for your Blog.

Signing Off for Now will be coming back soon with Bunch of more Nice articles for the Enhancement of your Cyber Experiences till then Stay Updated and Keep Posting your Comments so that your Voice would reach to me. Support the Article by Sharing it Socially.
